With the demise of the Louisville Orchestra weighing on my mind lately, I've decided to write. I spend much of my time thinking about the role of music in what seems to be a world that's increasingly hostile to things I think are fundamentally important.

I haven't put my thoughts out on the internet for years but I think I've finally found something I want to write about. So bear with me.
